Because I know you care . . .

Here are a couple pictures from when I was 5 (1986) and I was sent to a YMCA day camp called Kimball Camp. I went there several years, and if I recall correctly, we did sing Kumbaya. I think the look on my face in the first picture perfectly sums up my opinion of camp in general. Also, you may not be able to tell, but I'm wearing open-toed, white jelly shoes with white socks. I'm not sure if this is because I dressed myself that day, or if my mom fell victim to the 80s whilst choosing my ensemble.

the funny thing for me is i actually saw you at that age making that face. hilarious.....

and remind me again why jelly shoes are not a trndy item anymore. the wash and wear is awesome!!

I love the pictures, they're great!! I remember jelly shoes, they were so uncomfortable but we all loved them anyway. How are you and what is going on? I haven't talked to you since before I went to see the inlaws in October. Call me when you get a free minute. Love to chat--you need to come see my new house!! I love it!!
